Kathleen Stacey
Kathleen Stacey is the Founding Director, Managing Director and Principal Consultant at beyond... She spent her formative working years within the public sector and academia before establishing and expanding beyond... into its current form. She regularly collaborates with a range of independent consultants or research centre-based colleagues. All of these colleagues have exceptional qualifications and extensive experience working in human services, public health, education and academic sectors, which gives them a solid understanding of policy, practice, research, education and training issues.
Michelle Nightingale
Michelle Nightingale is Kathleen Stacey's Personal Assistant and the Administration Officer supporting beyond... staff and collaborators. Michelle has a diverse background spanning health services administration and the performing arts. She has a Certificate IV in Frontline Management.
She supports Kathleen in managing the office, coordinating the company's projects and initiatives, and helps document and facilitate meetings and workshops.
Lucinda Armitage
Lucinda Armitage works as a Research Officer on a project specific and needs-basis. Her role includes: literature review; undertaking focus groups, interviews and phone interviews, and analysing research and evaluation information in the education, health and community services areas; and report writing.

Nicole Keller
Nicole Keller commenced her consulting business in 2007, having worked professionally in a diverse range of human service areas in three States – Victoria, NSW and SA. Prior to this she held direct service, policy and planning leadership positions with state government departments, with consistent involvement in the health, mental health, and Aboriginal health sectors. Her work focuses on the development, implementation, review and evaluation of government run or funded programs, policies and initiatives.

Sharon Gollan, Sharon Gollan & Associates
Sharon Gollan has strong affinity with and is an active community member of the Ngarrindjeri group in South Australia. She has over 25 years of experience in the public sector in a range of community services and management positions primarily focussed on creating better services for Aboriginal peoples, followed by eight years in academic teaching and research.
Sharon Gollan has invited beyond... to work with her on multiple occasions since 1999 in developing and delivering training programs – most commonly focused on cultural respect and safety training as part of organisational change projects. They have also developing community-based programs, and evaluated family and community service programs at state and national levels. Haydyn Bromley, Bookabee Australia
Haydyn is Cultural Director of Bookabee Australia Pty a cultural tourism and consultancy company Ltd that he established with Lele Sanderson. Haydyn is a direct descendent and active member of the Adnyamathanha, Narungga and Yarliyandi communities, with traditional ties spanning the Yorke Peninsula, Flinders Ranges, Simpson Desert and South West Queensland areas. Prior to operating Bookabee, Haydyn worked predominantly in the education and training sector. He also has over 10 years experience in industrial relations as a Union official for the Australian Education Union.
Bookabee Australia has three business trading arms: Bookabee Services (BS), Bookabee Tours Australia (BTA) and Outback Pride Distributor for SA and NT. Bookabee Services is the consulting arm through which Haydyn provides facilitation, training, consultancy and conference services for government and non-government organisations. Bookabee Tours Australia is currently the most awarded Aboriginal owned and operated Tour Company in Australia. Our current awards include 8 national tourism awards, 3 SA tourism awards and SA Hall of Fame induction in 2009. Jason Bromley, Incompro Pty Ltd
Jason is a direct descendent and active member of the Adnyamathanha, Narungga and Yarliyandi communities, with traditional ties spanning the Yorke Peninsula, Flinders Ranges, Simpson Desert and South West Queensland areas. Prior to working in cultural tourism, training and consultancy through Guranda Services Pty Ltd and, more recently, Incompro Pty Ltd, Jason worked in the education sector, and Aboriginal community and health organisations.
Through both Guranda and Incompro, Jason has collaborated with beyond... on strategic planning, policy review, accreditation, facilitation and evaluation projects since 2006. Australian Youth Research Centre
The Australian Youth Research Centre (AYRC) is located within the Faculty of Education at The University of Melbourne. Kathleen is one of their Research Associates and the only associate based in South Australia. AYRC has over 20 years' experience of research, evaluation and program development in areas of education, youth affairs, disadvantage and policy analysis for a diverse range of groups. These include: the Australian National Training Authority (ANTA), the National Centre for Vocational Education and Research (NCVER), the Australian Research Council (ARC), the Research and Development Grants Advisory Committee (RADGAC), the Australian Government Department of Employment, Education, Training and Youth Affairs (DEETYA/DETYA), the Australian Government Department of Education, Science and Training (DEST), the Victorian Department of Education, the Human Rights and Equal Opportunity Commission (HREOC), as well as local government and private enterprise.
AYRC has particular expertise in research on youth development, youth participation, education, transition pathways, social justice, gender equity, justice, training and employment issues. It has a commitment to the active 'agency' of young people in its research, development, consultancy, support and evaluation work, i.e. to their capacity and willingness to act upon issues that affect them.
